Help & Support !

The application Azimut is comprised of four tabs.

Tab 1 – THE MAP

Some definitions first:

  • « visit » – This is the core functionality of Azimut, when you arrive somewhere and stay for 5-6 minutes at this place. The application will log that position.
  • « location » – When you explicitely via the menu decides to have a better tracking accuracy of your movements (Best is 10 meters, 100 meters, 1km or 3km) then this is a « location » position.
  • « user » – When you decide to explicitely to log your current position.

The Map is straightforward and logs pins where you have visited a location. They have different colors according to when in time you where there:

  • red pins if in the last day / 24 hours
  • orange pins if in the last week / 7 days
  • yellow pins if in the last 15 days
  • cyan pins if in the last month
  • light purple pins if in the last 3 months
  • purple pins if in the last 6 months
  • green pins if in the last year
  • grey pins if more than a rolling year

The map has several menu icons:

  • to decide which tracking accuracy you would like to have from meters, kilometers or « visit » – this last mode is our recommended mode and the default mode of the application to use almost really zero battery usage.
  • to decide what type of map information you would like to see between Standard, Hybrid or Satellite
  • to decide what type of map information you would like to see between Standard, Hybrid or Satellite.
  • To log an user location position – meaning your current position will be recorded by the system
  • a final icon on the right to re-center the map in bird view around your current location.

Tab 2 – THE TRACE

This is the list of all the recorded data by the application. So all your visit, location or user positions. You can recognise the same color code than for the map. If you click on a record you ll see more details of it ie all the data that we are recording.

If you swipe left on an entry in the main list that will just delete that specific line.

Tab 3 – THE STATS

This contains great pieces of information.

The first set of statistics are « rolling » stats from todays date per day, week, months, etc.

The great feature is that we calculate the distance between the positions which gives you an idea of your travel distance on these corresponding periods.

The second set of data is the same but on avaerage (so not rolling).

The killer comparison to make is to check your rolling data against your average data so you can understand if you are travel distance is more or less than your habits.

TAB 4 – THE SETTINGS
